Photosniper is a trade name of ‘photographic guns’ produced by the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Factory named after S.A.Zverev (KMZ). This photo camera allowed taking close-up pictures of distant objects. In addition to a long-focus lens it featured a gunstock and a shutter stock. The first models were used during the WWII for Intelligence service, and later the Photosniper became popular with photojournalists and photographers shooting animals and birds in a natural environment.
