The Williams No. 4 model was introduced in 1899 with a four-row keyboard that employed a single shift mechanism. Metal framework painted black. Four-row keyboard contains 42 keys. Russian font, case switching is realized by horizontal moving the roller. Printing mechanism of lever kind with an impact from above with a painting ink pad.
