This electro generator was developed in 1939 in the laboratory of the Energetics Institute headed by professor Lev Gutenmaher. This analogue calculator was used to solve complex systems of equations required for determination of spatial temperature fields and parameters for underground hydraulic systems in the oil drilling industry. The resistor panel of an electro-generator represents a system of coordinates with resistors at grid nodes. The resistor's resistance values are then proportionally adjusted according to the desired values.
